We evolve. We continue to evolve. Everything, including us, is a manifestation of energy and expression of a series of specific conditions, events, and interactions with other energies that are 100% unique to that thing or being. Should it not, in turn, follow that our purpose is to be the best energy we can be, to be a source of positive energy interacting with all things and beings, and to help others grow, evolve, and/or be a source of good energy after you are gone (either by having moved on in life or in death)?
Families, countries, cultures, groups, organizations are also manifestations of energy, each with unique ways of being and doing that have the potential to provide a constant source of learning and inspiration for anyone in a different family, country, culture, group, or organization.
Not every energetic interaction is positive, obviously. Harsh, greedy, arrogant, fearful energy traumatizes, minimizes, and destroys. Our purpose is to counteract these energies, to evolve past them where possible. Aside from a meteor hitting the earth, no catastrophe is unmanageable. You learn to adapt, to accept death, to build stronger structures, institutions, or communities, to educate and empower people to make better decisions and realize their potential, and to use resources more respectfully and sustainably.
And eventually, perhaps, we evolve as a species to understand and internalize a way of life that is based on synergy and harmony, so that our energies, skills, and collective knowledge can be used for understanding the mysteries of the universe, how energy works and shapes us at the quantum level, and how the experience of being alive could be collaborative and not competitive.
In the meantime, we struggle in a battle between positive and negative energies, of waves of depletion and abundance, losing our cores to the noise and quick fixes, putting ourselves at the center of everything but taking responsibility for nothing, mistaking being the center of attention for our individual center, creating a circular reference that yields ‘ERROR’ in any equation.
Given the right influx of energies and resources, any being can bloom and flourish, no matter the damage, trauma, or perception. Humans have evolved to be aware of this, but we have yet to collectively manifest it.
