chile

I then climbed an active volcano in Pucon, Chile. I was an almost 5000 ft (1450m) ascent in five and a half hours. To this day I still don’t know how I did it. But, it. was. incredible. You could fall into the center of the earth with one misstep and see the ends of the earth on the horizon at the same time.

Before this I wandered the streets of Santiago. Spent hours in the cemetery and with street art, visited Pablo Neruda’s house, saw Pinochet’s HQ building from a distance and of course found the art museum.

I didn’t spend long in Chile but long enough to have yet another life changing experience and to know that I need to go back.
